Ashlands is an immaculate brick built detached house located in the attractive and popular residential area on the edge of Scotton Village.  Ashlands is set in well-established front and rear gardens with open countryside on the doorstep. Greenhills house is on the same estate only a few yards away.

 

Ashlands has a covered entrance into a hall with cloakroom off with toilet and basin.  The lounge has a bay window across the front with an attractive mahogany fireplace with a living gas fire, colour television, comfortable three-piece suite with coffee table.   Dining room has a separate dining area with a large family sized table and chairs, small television and patio doors to the rear private garden with barbecue.  The kitchen adjoins with fitted range of modern units with built-in oven, hob and extractor.  The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, fridge, dryer, microwave, toaster, kettle, pots and pans and all other utensils needed.  A separate utility room contains washing machine and freezer unit and a back door onto the side garden where there are the dustbins and washing lines.

 

Upstairs we have a master bedroom with double bed, bedside cabinets with drawers, dressing table and a large built-in wardrobe.   This bedroom is en- suit with shower room, toilet and basin.   There is also a double bedroom overlooking the rear garden with double bed and bedside cabinets with drawers, with built-in dressing table and large wardrobe. One single bedroom overlooks this rear garden and another single bedroom overlooks the front garden making four bedrooms in all with an additional family bathroom where you can have a bath or shower.  Beds are made up on arrival and all bedding is provided.

 

Visitors need to bring towels and tea towels with them. No coins are needed for the meter as an electricity charge is made - this is listed on the tariff.

 

Plenty of parking area is available for two cars with also a generously sized single garage.    Ashlands is ideally suited to families and larger parties. The house has full central heating with only being built eight years ago.

 

Ashlands is central with lots of village pubs that do meals. Also the 24 hour Tesco is handy for all your shopping.  Taxicabs can be available within minutes to ferry you to your favourite local pub.   Scotton is at the beginning of Wensleydale and the views when touring the dale are magnificent from this location.
